What do you fight for: I fight because I love to compete. The first 2 times I fought I made 50 bucks between both fights ( it's not all about money!!). If I didn't fight I would still train, and teach. I have a love for martial arts and the discipline and code of honor associated with it. It is mental and spiritual as much as it is physical. It is also amazing to see all of your training kick in when you fight, and amazing when it doesn't. Thats when you see if you got HEART!!
What would you say to an aspiring fighter: Train Hard, Train Smart, and don't let Anybody tell you that you can't do it.
Do it for yourself more than anything else. Always remember when you are in the cage or the ring there is nothing that can help you except for your training. If you did everything that you could to prepare for a fight, don't beat yourself up if you lose. It is cliche to say but true.... "Anything can happen in MMA."

How / why did you get started in MMA: I came into the Shark Tank and just the warm up broke me. They taught me the mount and i felt this dudes nuts on my chest and I was like " I dont think this is for me" lol... Learned an armbar and a keylock. Then I sparred a fat cop MMA and he choked me out( guillatene)..... I thought to myself if i knew this ground stuff I could be pretty good! I have been training ever since.
